This is our 8th year, and our members love the project and helping children in our community. We think the Dictionary Project is a wonderful organization, and recommend it to other Kiwanis Clubs as often as we can.

We’ve been participating for five years – it has become our favorite project! The students love receiving dictionaries, and are especially excited about all of the extra civic lessons, math and science facts, and maps in the back of the book. Our club started an endowment (The Fern and Elmer Graber Kiwanis Fund for Children)to pay for the project each year. Several club members initially contributed to this endowment.
